Felicia has been studying dance for the past thirteen years. She was first introduced to dance at a local Park and Recreation center. She continued her ballet training at San Diego Civic Youth Ballet beginning in 1998 under the tutelage of Xavier Hicks, Penny Huffor, Corrine Giddings, and Christy Rube. She has attended Ballet Pacifica’s Summer Intensive where she studied under former ABT principals Amanda McKerrow, John Gardner, Lorin Johnson, and Charles Maple as well as master classes given by Jeffrey Gerodias, Calvin Kitten, A.C. Cuilla, Natalya Stravo, Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Dance Company and Diane Cartier. In addition, she has also received training at Ballet Magnificat’s Summer Teacher’s Workshop and taken choreography and dance history courses at UCSD. Main roles Felicia has performed include Snow Queen and Sugar Plum Fairy in the Nutcracker and Aurora in Sleeping Beauty. Felicia also performed with a contemporary ballet company and continues to choreograph and dance for Levanah Dance Ministry. She was the lead dancer in the King and I with the San Diego Lyric Opera.
Felicia has been teaching beginning through intermediate levels of dance for the past four years at several studios including San Diego Youth Ballet and the California Ballet.
